How Do I Upload Videos To Forum With Admin Role? – GoMotive

Gray Institute staff has the ability to upload videos to the forum via two paths.

For Videos Less Than 3 Minutes

Step 1: Press the + button in forum tab and Input Discussion Title & Category and press Add Media button.

Step 2: Select video, and gallery if pre-filmed already. If not, and shooting live press camera. Upload video and add.

Step 3: Press add content, input written copy (required) to create post and add.

Step 4: Post discussion

* To note, videos uploaded are going to Vimeo and will transcode and process. It will take a few minutes potentially after you post discussion for them to populate.

For Videos More Than 3 Minutes

Step 1: Upload your video to your YouTube or Vimeo accounts.

Step 2: Set the privacy settings in Vimeo to be able to embed Anywhere and Hide from Vimeo. On YouTube you should either have it as unlisted or public - not private

Step 3: Copy the URL link. The URL link in YouTube will look like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqlK0UaJus8. In Vimeo it will appear as: https://vimeo.com/638149457

Step 4: Press the + button in forum tab and Input Discussion Title & Category and press Add Content button.

Step 5: Paste your link in the video icon box, and add written copy to support video and add.

Step 6: Post discussion.
